Zambia is somewhere between "East Africa" and "Southern Africa" and manages to enjoy the best out of both. 

On the one hand, you will find the local food and markets that will feel like in the eastern part of Africa but on the other hand, walking around Lusaka you could easily mistake it with a European city.

Zambia, like its neighbor in the south Zimbabwe, enjoys the magnificent wonder of Victoria Falls, which attract most of the visitors coming here.

However, the falls are not all Zambia has to offer; you could take a walking safari in South Luangwa National park, do a couple of days rafting in the Zambezi river and trying to find elephants and hippos there, or try to explore off the beaten track and find some sweet spots like the Ngonye falls the "little brother" of Vic falls.
